Will these documents meet my state's requirements?
Every document is built around your state's statutory requirements for wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Proper signing still matters — including witnesses and notarization where required — so we generate a state-specific signing checklist for each document.
Do I still need a lawyer?
For a straightforward estate — a home, accounts, and clear beneficiaries — many families prepare their documents with guided software. If your situation is complex, we recommend an attorney, and you can add Attorney Review so a licensed attorney in your state reviews your document before you sign. What if my situation changes?
You can edit and regenerate your documents any time — a new baby, a move, a divorce, a new asset. One-time plans never expire, so there's no renewal to keep access. If you change states, we flag the documents that need to be reissued under your new state's rules.
What if I'm not sure it's right for me?

How Family Linking Works?
Choose 1 to 4 adults with either paid plan. Each person creates their own private account and keeps their own Will, Power of Attorney, and Healthcare Directive. Spouses can co-edit shared assets and beneficiaries, while other adults get access only to what you choose to share. Mirror-from-Spouse and coordination checks help keep plans aligned.
How does pricing work for couples and families?
Pick Will Plan or Trust Plan, then add $100 for each additional adult (up to 4 adults total). A couple pays $249 for the Will Plan or $499 for the Trust Plan. Each adult gets their own documents.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. You only pay the difference between plans for every adult already covered, and you can add adults later for $100 each. Previous Starter purchases keep their $99 credit. Your existing documents and data carry over.
Do one-time plans expire?
Never. When you purchase a one-time Will Plan or Trust Plan, your documents and access are yours forever.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), plus pay-in-installments options like Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay. Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. At checkout you can choose Klarna, Affirm, or Afterpay and split your package into smaller payments. Approval is instant, the installment schedule is handled entirely by the provider, and your full plan access starts immediately after the first payment — nothing is held back.
Is there a refund policy?
Because your documents are delivered instantly, purchases are non-refundable once your documents are downloaded. That’s why you can build and preview everything free first — you see exactly what you’re buying. Our Done-Right Guarantee covers you: if any document you buy doesn’t meet your state’s requirements, we’ll fix it free, or refund you if we can’t. If you haven’t downloaded any final documents, contact support within 14 days for a full refund.
