How it works

We verify your credentials

Upload your commission certificate, E&O insurance, and photo ID. Reviewed within 2 business days.

Step 3

Set your weekly availability

Members can only book inside the windows you publish, in your own timezone.

Step 4

Get booked and get paid

Payouts release 48 hours after the notarized document is delivered.

What you'll need

  • An active notary commission in at least one U.S. state
  • Errors & omissions (E&O) insurance in force
  • A government-issued photo ID for identity verification
  • For remote work (coming soon): access to a state-authorized RON platform
  • For in-home work: reliable transportation within your travel radius
Independent contractor

You remain an independent notary public. LegacyShield does not direct how you perform a notarial act, and every act must follow the rules of your commissioning state.
